ગુજરાતમાં થયેલા પ્રથમ હાર્ટ ટ્રાન્સપ્લાન્ટનો વીડિયો, જુઓ LIVE ઓપરેશન સિમ્સ હોસ્પિટલના ડોક્ટરોએ ગુજરાતમાં પહેલું સફળ હાર્ટ ટ્રાન્સપ્લાન્ટ કર્યું. ભાવનગરના 37 વર્ષીય યુવાનનું હૃદય જામનગરના 49 વર્ષીય દર્દીમાં ધબકતું થયું છે. ગુજરાતમાં મુસ્લિમ સમાજ દ્વારા અંગ દાન કરાયું હોય અને હાર્ટને અન્ય દર્દીમાં ટ્રાન્સપ્લાન્ટ કરાયું હોય તેવી પ્રથમ ઘટના છે. હાર્ટને ભાવનગરથી અમદાવાદ ગ્રીન કોરિડોર દ્વારા લવાયું હતું. ભાવનગર પોલીસે ગ્રીન કોરિડોર જાહેર કરીને સિવિલ હોસ્પિટલથી એરપોર્ટ સુધી માત્ર 6 મિનિટ અને 22 સેકન્ડમાં હૃદયને સુરક્ષિત રીતે પહોંચાડ્યું હતું,-કુટુંબ અને મિત્રો-સાથે શેર કરો.
The heart of a 37 year old man of Bhavanagar was transplanted in the body of a 49 year old patient of Jamanagar. A fast track system was created to transport the heart from Bhavnagar to Ahmedabad through specially created green corridors in both the cities from hospital to airport and vice versa taking just 82 minutes. As soon as the heart reached CIMS Hospital the entire cardiac team commenced the heart transplant procedure. From Jamnagar to Ahmedabad to Bhavnagar, the confluence of 3 cities thus went on to mark the first heart transplant of the state.
