i would like to share my expirience about hospital management.Parking excellent,Registration counter clearance very fast,After registration for consultation to doctor one office boy accompany us throughout the process so need to ask where to go.Clean and neat hospital.About mediclaim departmemt nicely explain which plan is suitable to your policy.When my wife was shifted to operation theatre Dr Ajaybhai explained on screen what i am going to do in this case.After opertation DR Ajabhia called us and explained what he had done.Excellent work by Dr . Ajaybhai. He replies our query very fast by text on mobile.DR Anishbhai chandarana is our primary doctor. He had perfomed CAG in this case He is a kind doctor to the society. He devotes his life for the patient’s benefit All the staff members, dietician and physiotherapist are doing well.Dr. AJaybhai advises not to come in contact with visitors for 15 days so he adv us my staff person will come to your home for dressing and we will do it complimentary.We get call from hospital for follow up regularly. Great work by Marengo CIMS Hospital doctors and their team. My suggestion wheel chair facility should be there near parking area so needy patient can move easily for registration and help desk should be near parking area.

Minimal invasive Mitral Valve surgery, Dr Dhiren Shah
Dr. Dhiren Shah and his Team did an excellent job. For someone like me who works in the field of cardiac surgery in Germany, it’s difficult to find a surgeon who can operate as you like(excellent technique). But because of Dhiren Shah now I am not worried anymore. As a doctor, I know the importance of other doctors, nurses, and other departments who works day and night together to give you excellent results. I am grateful to the entire team for doing excellent work by replacing Mitral Valve with the Minimal Invasive technique and taking care of my aunt.

We are from Udaipur here doctor suggested for Angiography but we don’t want to take any risk here so decided to.move to CIMS Ahmedabad, As we know Dr. kP sir he was the best in our knowledge and according to our previous experience. We called hospital on the way to Ahmedabad and they have us the Appointment. After reaching the hospital we have to fill the form by our self as due to covid situations. But it was good they were not allowing without scan. Within half our doctor checked my mamaji and suggested for Angiography. WE were all set for this. Doctor himself told us for the package as per our mediclaim and satisfied us. We stayed 2 nights and 3 days in 5 star 😊 hospital with best treatment. My mamaji is well now.
Now coming on to Hospital services….
PrOS:-

2. Quick service
3. Well maintained rooms
4. Efficient patient services like meals and investigation.
5. Quick finding of disease
6. After discharge a cake ceremony is done by hospital staff which gives new confidence to the patient.
CONS:-
1. Cafeteria service is worst
2. Food served to Attendant after paying was worst
3. Billing Department staff no so polite with attendant
4. Discharge time is too much for Mediclaim patients it took almost morning to evening.
But these cons are avoidable after getting our patient recover within 2 days.
I would like to thanks Dr. kP sir and the staff for giving our patient new life.

Except for the melee at the admission counter on the first floor, which took nearly two hours for us to clock in, the staff were courteous and helpful.
The treatment and consultation were very effective, the doctors well versed with their work and patient care that it comforted ones decision to get treatment from this hospital!
However as this is true with almost all the hospitals and organizations, the spanner in the works are the accounting and finance people! My cashless treatment was processed very late and I could check out only a day after my surgery instead of spending Monday night but also had to spend Tuesday night unnecessarily causing waste of time and money!
Still they are very ineffective because cashless process has to be reminded and only then would they initiate it, they do not prompt us!

I was a COVID-19 patient. I admitted into hospital on 11th of June 2020. It was little bit a tough time but the care of all the staffs are really thankful. They were taking care of all the patient like a family. And may be that’s the main inspiration we need whenever we are in hospital. Thank you to each and every member. My father in law was exposed to COVID-19 at age of 83. He was admitted in CIMS. He was discharged in 5 days well and healthy. Excellent treatment and response. Special thanks to Dr. Rashmi Chovathiya. She was literally available on cell phone even though she was not on duty. They were amazingly co-operative, staff was really nice from Operator to Doctors. Even though dietitian was excellent, they listen and make appropriate changes in patient’s food requirement. Good Luck. God Bless You.

My Father in laws was admitted due to positive COVID-19 on May 8th 2020. He was discharged well and healthy in 5 days. In fact hospital wants to discharge him early but I requested Dr. Rashmi and she allow us to keep him in hospital another 2 days. Dr. Rashmi Chovathiya is excellent. She kept her self available even though she was not on duty. Where COVID-19 patients are not able to see anybody. But she was our best direct contact to know about our patient. In fact she literally video shoot our patient and send us to see and make us very comfortable that our patient (relative) is in good hand.
Staff is excellent, we called many time to hospital but from operator to on duty floor staff, they were very co-operative. In cafeteria, they have excellent system that you can directly contact dietitian, which we did and she made necessary changes in my father in law meal and timing.

My father in law is taking regularly chemotherapy at CIMS since December. His planned cycle was due on 6/4/2020. Due to lockdown (to avoid transmission of COVID 19), it was very difficult to manage the pick and drop for him as my patents are living all alone. Even for me, it was very difficult to arrange the due to lockdown. I sent a simple request to hospital to arrange the pick and drop for him through Online chat. Within a few minutes, I received e-mail stating that all the arrangements will be done by CIMS. I on behalf of my family indeed appreciate the prompt response and support provided by the hospital and convey my sincere thanks…

Appologies for reviewing late (but it has a reason)
My father was operated by Dr Dhiren Shah for Bypass surgery on 1st OCT 2018. Everything from admission to discharge was smooth and very transparent, we as family members CANNOT give one reason to not like and refer this hospital. To cut it short and sweet I have the following to say:
1. The costing was very economical (with the current rates for such cases) with options of Room sharing.
2. The staff of every department from Medical to House keeping to Security was very supportive, efficient, understanding and professional.
3. The hospital has almost every lab testing done inhouse for better streamlining and co-ordination with efficiency.
4. They have even followed up 18 months after the surgery (as was promised) without reminding them.
5. Payment terms are flexible and they understood if delays were experienced (Unintenionally)
6. The security made sure we were handled politely on the day of surgery as we were tensed for the result.
MOST IMPORTANT : Of all the surgeon’s DR Dhiren Shah was very approachable and excessable, all our concerns were answered.

My Father was diagnosed with a tumor in Colon and Rectum Area during his first level diagnosis done by Dr. Ketu Parekh by performing colonoscopy and was concluded that a surgery will be required to remove the same and he recommended us Dr. Manish Gandhi for the surgery.
I was rest assured that we are in the safe hands, and everything will be perfect.
Dr. Manish Gandhi is flawless and superlative in his profession. Very gentle, supportive and makes you understand the overall diagnosis and further procedure for the surgery. He suggested Laparoscopy method to perform the surgery, there was no discomfort to the patient during the surgery time and further care was taken by support staff, which eventually made the recovery of my father faster and painless post-surgery.

My Mom Mrs. Pratima Dutta, was suffering from severe pain in and around the shoulder area, for almost 7 months. We had run numerous medical tests and consulted various doctors and specialists in Chandigarh and Udaipur, but to no avail. All of them diagnosed her with frozen shoulder or tissue tear, assuring us that it was normal and will gradually get better with exercise. But on the contrary, things kept deteriorating. Then, a very close friend of mine referred us to Dr. Parth Parekh (Orthopedic Surgeon , CIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad), and I clearly remember the five minutes of consultation and conversation with him brought us a sense of trust and hope, which was long lost otherwise. It took him around 20 minutes to give a preliminary diagnosis, and another few tests to confirm that. Though skeptical because of the previous experiences and over past 7 months of ordeal, we still felt we should go with his advice. And we did. My Mom was operated on the 2nd week of December, and its barely been a month, but the pain has subsided to a significant level, most of her hand movements are gradually coming back, and the best part is, that we see her happy and chirpy again. My hearty thanks to Dr. Parth Parekh and his entire team for an excellent job and very successful surgery, and Dr Prashant Deshmukh (COO CIMS) for being so humble and taking such good care of us that we felt at home. We had done a cancer operation with CIMS Hospital, i want to complain about the Doctor’s Behaviour Named Dr. Ashok Patel he is very rude in nature and he does not give proper answers to patients about how much stiches they had done for the cancer operation and also he does not respect elders, if the patient asks any question he does not give proper answer instead he cuts the question asked by the patient, you should tell the doctor to change their behaviour because of this reason we will not like to come to your hospital next time and we can not tell anyone to go CIMS Hospital.

I had a very chronic muscular (Hamstrings and Glutial maximus) pain. My friend (Dr. Hiren Dholakia) referred me to Dr. Deep Parikh , the Physiotherapist at CIMS ,Science City Road, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Deep Parikh attended to me. After a thorough examination, he concluded that I didn’t have any disc problem. I needed to strengthen the musceles of the lower back, Glutial and hamstrings.
A two-weeks daily (six days a week) one hour regimen of exercises along with electro-therapy was given by Dr. Deep, with proper explanations and active support and supervision. He also taught me to be self sufficient later on to do the exercises on my own at home.
I benefited immensely and gained a great self confidence and lot of pain reduction to the extent of no pain.
Excellent Hospital, Neat and clean. The attitude of the doctors and staff is very amicable and professional. It can compare with any advance hospital of the USA , where I have been for ten years as a visitor/patient. Keep it up Dr. Deep and CIMS.

Sharing experience during the period of my bypass surgery (CABG)
It is not many an often that you find yourself being able to share experiences of hospitalisation, however, my recent one at CIMS Hospital in Ahmedabad has left some deep impressions on me.
I was admitted on 26.June. 2019 for a bypass scheduled on 28th June 2019. Being a properly scheduled surgery, our family had opportunity to meet with the cardiac surgeon Dr. Dhiren Shah before we decided the dates and we were in for a surprise!; not only were all our queries and anxieties (we did have a rather long list including some quite technical such as whether it would be ‘beating heart’ surgery’?…) very patiently replied, he had a sympathetic tone to the replies.
I do have many doctor friends and it is quite often to be seen that they, and especially surgeons(!), are a tough lot…they really do not have so much time or patience, but my experience has been that both Dr. Dhiren Shah and Dr. Dhaval Naik are approachable at all times and would reply our texts asap. This has a very comforting effect. During the rounds, whether it is at the beginning or end of the day, they would make the atmosphere instantly vibrant and energetic. Dr. Keyur Buch from Orthopaedic department is an old friend and that made a lot of difference because he visited daily and took care of many matters.
I also remember that on second day of surgical ICU, the ICU ward had to be fumigated but we were transferred with remarkable efficiency and minimal stress to patients.
However, what makes me share these words are not only these senior people ( i can always pick up the phone and thank them) – they are there of course, but equally importantly the support staff and teams whom i found really really amazing – whether it is the dietitian, attendants, housekeeping, physiotherapists and nursing staff, i noticed very high level of motivation and commitment, adherence to protocols and punctuality. And this came with a smile and a pleasant nod. Not once did I notice a sense of dissent, or unwillingness, shoddy work, passing the buck or telling the family or patient to ask someone else to do a work. No not once. Nor did I find any support staff working under work related stress – only possible if there are properly defined roles. If you needed something, you could tell anybody and be pretty sure that the right person would take care of it soon. I am sure that they are having a very good ratio wrt to admitted patients.
On Approach, Practices, Equipment & Facility i would rate them 10/10.
There is only one thing that needs to be improved upon – the size of the TV!!! It is way too small and now we are no more used to searching that cricket ball on such a small screen! I am sure this will get upgraded too but of course i am not going to have to get admitted to see that !!
I wish them greater success in setting higher standards in patient care.
