1. Get Up and Go
Exercise daily. Exercising boosts blood flow and helps nerve cells that control memory.
2. Eat Right for Your Brain
• Eat lots of vegetables and fruits.
• Choose whole grains instead of processed refined grains.
• Cut back on unhealthy trans and saturated fats.
3. Work Your Mind
Play mind games such as crossword puzzles, sudoku, word games to exercise you brain and keep it working.
4. Be Social
Take active part in your community; engaging in conversations and activities keeps the mind active.
5. Sleep Well
7 or 8 hours of sleep a night is necessary to rest your brain; when brain is not rested one can have problems in remembering and concentrating.
