Dr. Gaurav Patel is a Clinical Director and Senior Transplant Surgeon with over a
decade of experience in advanced Liver, Kidney, Pancreas and Intestinal
Transplantation, along with complex Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery. He has
been directly involved in more than 1,000 organ transplants, including living donor and
deceased donor liver transplantation, kidney transplantation, pancreas transplantation, and
intestinal transplantation in both adult and paediatric patients.
Dr. Patel received advanced transplant training at the Montefiore Einstein Center for
Organ Transplantation, New York, USA, and brings globally benchmarked transplant
protocols to patient care. His clinical focus includes early identification and management of
fatty liver disease, liver cirrhosis, and end-stage liver failure, with an emphasis on timely
referral for liver transplant to improve survival and long-term outcomes.
