The third week of October is celebrated as International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) – 2019 by Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC).
The Department of Infection Prevention and Control at CIMS also celebrate this week every year for awareness, motivation, fun & learning and addresses learning needs.
This International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) 2019 was celebrated from October 16 to 19, 2019 this year. The theme of IIPW – 2019 was “Vaccines are Everybody’s Business”. During this week, we organized various activities like Tag a line on Vaccination Theme, Quizzes, Dart Games, Passing the Parcel, CSSD workshop, On-the-job training and Relatives Training Programme. We covered 704 Staff for the same during the week.
