On October 1st, Marengo CIMS Hospital conducted a highly engaging and informative Basic Life Support (BLS) Training session at the Punjab National Bank (PNB) Zonal Office in Ahmedabad. The session, aimed at equipping the PNB staff with essential life-saving skills, saw the active participation of over 40 staff members.
Led by Dr. Harshill Mehta, an expert in emergency care, the interactive training provided comprehensive guidance on critical life-saving techniques. Participants were taught how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), manage airways, and effectively use Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). These are crucial skills in handling life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest, and the session emphasized the importance of quick and decisive action in saving lives.
Dr. Mehta ensured that the training was not only informative but also practical, allowing attendees to engage in hands-on practice with the equipment. The interactive nature of the session fostered a strong sense of empowerment among the PNB staff, enabling them to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations.
This initiative highlights Marengo CIMS Hospital’s ongoing commitment to enhancing community health and safety through education and practical training. By organizing such impactful sessions, the hospital continues to strengthen its role as a leader in preventive healthcare and emergency preparedness.
