Marengo CIMS Hospital Celebrates 79th Independence Day with Pride and Patriotism

Celebrating the fervour of freedom and recommitting ourselves to care.

Marengo CIMS Hospital celebrated the 79th Independence Day with a heartwarming celebration, upholding the spirit of freedom, harmony, and commitment to nation-building. The celebration started with the flag hoisting ceremony, performed by Dr. R. Shankaran, Unit Medical Director, joined by Dr. Dhaval Naik, Cardiac Surgeon, and Dr. Tejas Patel, Interventional Cardiologist.

As the tricolour spread, hospital premises echoed with nationalistic fervour. The security personnel and staff members, wearing ceremonial uniforms, were standing in salute, exuding discipline and pride.

As the flag was hoisted, Dr. Shankaran, Dr. Naik, and Dr. Patel spoke to the crowd, reflecting on the theme for this year – Nation-building begins with care. They stressed that just as the freedom fighters gave their lives for the freedom of the country, medical professionals today have a vital responsibility in maintaining the health of the nation. The speeches reiterated Marengo CIMS Hospital’s mission of healing lives, saving futures, and building the strength of our wonderful nation.

The event concluded with the entire team joining for a group photograph, a moment capturing unity, dedication, and the shared vision of a healthier and stronger India.
