Reaching a fully-equipped hospital with the first 60 minutes of the occurrence of multi-system trauma is critical. That is why in medical terms it is called the Golden Hour. Treatment within this hour can increase the chances of survival of the patient.
Remember, it is better to reach a fully equipped hospital within One Hour rather than reaching any near by hospital.
